Planning and Development

  • Provide advice on the alternative use and redevelopment potential of assets with reference to evolving national and local planning policy.
  • Advise on the most appropriate alternative use of traditional agricultural buildings so as to maximise potential value or income.
  • Project-manage planning applications, consolidating all necessary information and supporting evidence.
  • Advise on and submit applications for permitted development uses, in the context of agricultural and residential property.
  • Negotiate terms of option agreements in relation to a broad range of development opportunities including built development and mineral extraction.
  • Prepare reports and documentation for submission in support of application for agriculturally restricted dwellings.
  • Prepare documentation and evidence for release of planning conditions restricting dwellings to occupation in association with ongoing agricultural businesses.
  • Redirect rights of way to increase privacy and facilitate development.
